Starting on June 23rd, we began work on the temporary building for our Chwele church.

We are moving from the permanent structure that we’ve been renting, having made a new deal with the landlord, and building the new structure on the same premises, adding more visibility and lowering our monthly rent by half.

This will allow us to save the difference that we would have paid for the property, for the intended purchase of a permanent property for our church here in Chwele in the future. We pray that God will guide us and strengthen our resolve in the process of saving up. We all know how easily reserves can just be applied to new expenditures or existing needs and then evaporate.

Some people donated poles to our cause, and after some metal sheets, gravel and labor was purchased, the work began.

On the night of Friday July 1st, 2022, we held our first Kesha in the temporary church. A Kesha is what we call an event of all night pray and worship.

On Sunday, July 3rd, we had our first church service in the new temporary church.

We praise the Lord for hearing our prayers and helping us with our plan to work to a better future for our church.
